Long before the first official Snow Village Halloween lit building was drawn Original Snow Village artist, Scott Enter was experimenting in his studio with the idea of creating a Halloween Village.

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. I’ve always enjoyed the seasonal decorating and elaborate costumes. It’s a holiday that allows the creative side of my personality to come through.

The Snow Village Halloween pieces are some of my favorite creations because there were no limitations to what I could do with the designs. I collect this Village myself and when I design a building I try to imagine how it will fit into the Village and add to the overall story.

For years, avid collectors have asked for a train and we thought that the 10th Anniversary would be the perfect opportunity to introduce a series of pieces that revolve around a spooky train station. We hope you enjoy and anticipate displaying these pieces in your Halloween collection as much as I enjoyed designing them.

As I look back, I cannot believe it has been 10 years since we introduced the “Haunted Mansion”. Over the years we have pushed the designs and manufacturing boundaries to continue to deliver increasingly complex and unique items for this Village. I feel like we have just begun to explore all the great ideas we have for this very special and sprawling spooky Village.
