Snowbabies Celebrates 40 Years

For four magical decades, Snowbabies has captured the wonder of winter through delicate artistry, heartfelt storytelling, and cherished holiday traditions. Since their debut in 1986, these beloved porcelain figurines have become treasured keepsakes for collectors around the world, celebrating family, friendship, love, and the magic of the season.

I’ve had the privilege of serving as Snowbabies’ Brand and Product Development Manager for nearly 15 of those years, and my connection to the brand began long before my career. Growing up, my grandmother gifted me a Snowbaby every Christmas. What amazed me most was her ability to find the perfect figurine to commemorate the moments that shaped each year of my life—from joining dance class to welcoming a new puppy to even recovering from a broken wrist after a bike ride to her house. Those gifts became more than decorations; they became memories captured in porcelain. 

That personal connection makes it especially meaningful to be part of a brand that continues to create moments of joy and lasting connections for collectors year after year.

As Snowbabies celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026, we are honoring this remarkable milestone with a collection that blends beloved traditions with fresh imagination. Created in-house by talented Snowbabies artist Kiri Namtvedt, this extraordinary design brings the legendary Jack Frost to life as he weaves sparkling patterns of ice through a magical winter forest alongside the beloved Snowbabies characters. Every delicate frost swirl and sculpted snowflake showcases exceptional artistry and attention to detail. As one of the most ambitious anniversary creations in Snowbabies history, Frosty Forests with Jack Frost embodies the imagination, craftsmanship, and storytelling that collectors have cherished for forty years.
