Discover Ne'Qwa Art®, the newest collection to arrive at Department 56.

Every Ne'Qwa Art® ornament begins as a single mouth-blown glass piece, then is hand-painted entirely from the inside using reverse painting on glass, a rare and centuries-old technique practiced by only a small number of skilled artisans worldwide. Working in reverse order with no room for correction, each artisan brings a design to life stroke by stroke—a process that takes more than six weeks to complete from start to finish.

The result is far more than a holiday decoration. It's a miniature work of art, meant to be admired all year long and treasured for a lifetime. Each ornament arrives beautifully presented in a satin-lined gift box with a certificate of authenticity, ready to gift or to begin a collection built to last for generations.
